Welcome to White Hart Stables, the home of husband and wife Warren Lamperd and Susanna Aromando and their team of horses.
Together they operate W&S Lamperd Services Ltd specialising in the training of riders and their horses in dressage, show
jumping and eventing.
Warren is an Australian rider who came to the UK in 1996 riding for Mark Todd at his Gloucestershire eventing yard. Warren
competed dressage, show jumping and eventing extensively throughout Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia before coming to the
UK. In 1997 he bought his six year old Australian Thoroughbred Bootlegger to the UK and in 1999 finished 9th at his first
Burghley CCI****. As a result they were listed for the Australian team for the Sydney Olympics. Unfortunately injury curtailed
Bootleggers career. Warren has remained in the UK as a professional rider and trainer. He is a British Eventing Accredited
trainer and a BSJA UKCC level II coaching accreditation. Warren is currently studying for his Level III BSJA qualification. He
has been training riders from novice to international for nearly thirty years.
Susanna Aromando was born in England and was in the young riders squad for GB. She now rides
dressage for Italy as a result of her Italian father. She has trained extensively in Germany with Conrad Shumacher, George
Theoderescu and Rudolf Zeilinger. She has previously been based in the UK with Sandy Philips and Emile Faurie. Susanna won
the British International Young Dressage Horse Championships with her current advanced horse Von Velten.
In 2005 Warren and Susanna moved to Hamstead Marshall, near Newbury in Berkshire, and White Hart Stables. The
first few years have been spent rebuilding the yard and developing a team of horses on which to compete. They are now competing those horses and developing their teaching work.
