EVENTING WORKSHOPS
The Pre-Season workshop in February was a great success. There will be more workshops conducted through
the season on a one day format.
This is workshop designed to hone competition skills for eventing setting the rider
up for the season. The workshop will be at Hoplands, near Winchester, with their excellent range of facilities. It will
be over two days with stabling available on site.
The dressage work will be based around test riding at the nominated
level. You will warm up to do a specific test then work with Susanna Aromando to develop the test and improve the performance.
The cross-country work will begin in the school looking at specific questions that will be asked in a course environment,
particularly skinny fences, corners and related lines. Speed work will be done outside designed to give riders more of a feel
for the speeds they are riding. The last day will see a test that will encompass all these questions.
The show
jumping phase will be developed in a course riding capacity. A course will be built, walked and ridden. This will be worked
on and improved.
There will be an evening presentation and discussion on Saturday night looking at goal and program
setting, both short and long term, rider analysis and safe cross-country riding.
The cost is £105 per day
with stabling at £30 for the night, including a £10 refundable deposit. For enquiries and booking forms
